Every year Stepps Towing and Stepps Salvage donates nearly 200 vehicles to Fire Departments in the Tampa Bay area. Those vehicles are used for ongoing training, live demonstrations and classes for new recruits. We are proud to be a part of the education and betterment of Fire Rescue crews. Every year technology in vehicles, materials used and the construction is improved. With that these departments train continually to keep up. Newsome High School in Lithia, Fl reached out to us. They needed a vehicle to send a message during a recent event at their school. Stepps companies are very community oriented. Stepps has been providing cars for Prom Promise, Seat belt, and now driving while texting campaigns since the early days. Unfortunately our towing divisions see these accidents all too often. While there are simply no salvageable parts on vehicles like this. There is still so much to be gained by seeing the realities of impaired, unprepared and distracted driving.
